Wrinkle relaxers, lip fillers, Kybella, cheek augmentation, chin & jawline filler, nasolabial folds and marionette filler
Kybella
FDA approved in 2015 as an injectable substance that dissolves fat. Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once these cells are destroyed they can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. Kybella can also be used in your armpit/bra area.
During appointment your provider will determine if this treatment is suitable for you. Each treatment takes about 15-20 minutes, during which time a series of injections are placed directly into the fatty area.
After a few weeks you will see partial results. Some patients will require a series of treatments. If more then one treatment is required sessions are given at least 1 month apart.
Lip Filler
Lip filler procedure is for anyone looking to add volume and shape to their lips. Lip filler has many added benefits such as improving the lips shape, hydration, balance, and symmetry.
During the consultation you and the provider will talk about your desired results. You will then learn about the different types of filler and they will decide what filler will provide you with your aesthetic goals. Before the lip augmentation you will be numbed for 10-20 minutes. The Overall whole process takes 45-60 minutes.
Immediately after treatment you will be given an iced compress to alleviate any discomfort. Aftercare is minimal. Your provider will give you post care instructions for the days following the injections. Most common side effects are short- termed bruising, swelling, lumps, and discomfort. Swelling will last anywhere from 2-14 days.
Cheek Augmentation
Cheek augmentation can help restore lost volume. Hyaluronic filler is added to restore lost volume to the midface to create a more youthful appearance. This procedure is quick, safe, and has very minimal pain. Results are almost immediate and over the next 5 months you will continue to see great improvement. Volumizing the cheeks helps reduce nasolabial folds, reduce marionette lines, decrease sagging in the lower face, and improve under eye hollowing.
During your initial consultation you and your provider will discuss if you are a candidate for cheek filler. Cheek filler can last on average 2 years. Before the procedure your provider will assess the area and can provide topical numbing cream if desired.
When your treatment is complete results will be noticeable right away and continue to improve. Aside from minimal swelling and bruising there is no downtime for cheek filler and you can resume normal daily activities.
Chin & Jawline Filler
If you are looking for a more defined jawline or more attractive profile then chin and jawline filler would be the perfect treatment for you. This procedure can give you a stronger profile. Chin and Jawline filler can also create a very slimming effect to the face.
During the initial consultation you and your provider will discuss what your aesthetic goals are. After the consult if you are determined a good candidate for the procedure your injecter will walk you through the process. Chin and Jawline filler can last anywhere from 1-2 years. Prior to the procedure a numbing agent can be applied to help increase your comfort.
Results will be immediate and will improve over the next few days. Bruising and swelling are both potential side effects so ice is recommended.
Nasolabial folds & Marionette Line Filler
Nasolabial folds are the faint lines that run from the underneath nostril to the corner of the mouth. Marionette lines are the lines that run from the corner of the mouth down to the jawline. As we age we lose volume creating these folds. The biggest cause of these two issues are the loss of fat pads, loss of cheek bones, decrease in collagen, and exposure to sun.
Post treatment there will be some swelling that can last a few days and possibly even a few weeks. Some individuals will have bruising that can be covered with makeup. Depending on the aesthetic goals and type of filler used results will last anywhere from 9 months- 2 years.
When your treatment is complete results will be noticeable right away and continue to improve. Aside from minimal swelling and bruising there is no downtime for cheek filler and you can resume normal daily activities.
Wrinkle Relaxers: Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin, Daxxify
Wrinkle relaxers, also known as neuromodulators, are injectable treatments that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to soften fine lines and prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. Commonly treated areas include forehead lines, frown lines between the brows (often called “11’s”), and crow’s feet around the eyes. Over time, repeated facial expressions and natural collagen loss contribute to etched-in lines. Wrinkle relaxers help smooth these areas, giving the skin a refreshed, more youthful appearance without altering your natural expression.
Treatment is quick and minimally uncomfortable, often described as a small pinch. A series of tiny injections are placed into specific muscles depending on your aesthetic goals. The entire process typically takes less than 15 minutes. Most patients experience little to no downtime and can return to their day immediately after treatment.
You may notice slight redness or swelling at the injection sites, which typically resolves within minutes to a few hours. Results begin to appear within 2 to 5 days, with full effect around 10 to 14 days. Depending on the product used and individual metabolism, results generally last 3 to 6 months. With consistent treatments, fine lines soften over time, and wrinkle formation is greatly reduced.
Biostimulators / Fillers: Sculptra & Radiesse
Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse work differently from traditional fillers. Instead of simply adding volume, they stimulate your body’s natural collagen production to restore firmness and structure over time. These treatments are ideal for areas with generalized volume loss such as the cheeks, temples, jawline, and lower face. As we age, collagen depletion leads to thinning skin, hollowing, and sagging. Biostimulators help rebuild that foundation gradually, creating results that look natural and continue to improve for months after treatment.
Treatment begins with a thorough consultation and facial assessment. A topical numbing agent may be applied for comfort. Sculptra or Radiesse is then injected using a cannula or needle depending on the treatment area. You may experience mild pressure or fullness during injections, but overall discomfort is minimal. Appointments typically take 30–45 minutes.
Some swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur and usually subsides within a few days. With Sculptra, you’ll be instructed to massage the treated areas several times a day for five days to ensure even distribution. Results develop gradually over the following weeks as new collagen forms. Most individuals require a series of treatments for optimal correction. Final results can last 1 to 2 years or longer depending on the product used and individual response.
